Our storm restoration approach includes damage assessment, collaboration with property owners and insurers, quality repairs using skilled labor, and ongoing client communication for a seamless experience.
Hail work is installed by a CertainTeed ShingleMaster PREMIER contractor. PREMIER is CertainTeed’s highest credential, and Lenz is one of only two PREMIER contractors among the 49 credentialed residential roofers within 25 miles of our headquarters in Golden Valley, MN. It matters on a claim, because the roof an adjuster approves still has to be installed to the manufacturer’s spec for the warranty to hold.

Lenz Construction conducts a thorough inspection to identify any damages.

If damages are found, Lenz Construction assists in notifying the insurance carrier. An adjuster will typically contact you within 24-48 hours to arrange an inspection.

Lenz Construction representatives will attend the adjuster meeting to ensure all details are communicated and nothing is overlooked.

The adjuster generates a Loss Statement, and the insurer sends a check for the Actual Cash Value (ACV) of the claim. Lenz Construction collaborates with the insurer to verify that all repair needs are included and fairly priced.

Choose materials and schedule the build. After ordering materials, a down payment invoice is sent. Once work is completed, Lenz Construction notifies the insurance carrier to release any remaining funds and sends a final invoice. Warranties will be issued upon full payment.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
Most roofing projects take 1-2 days. Most siding projects 3-5 days. Gutter install typically done in 1 day.
WHAT IF MY CLAIM IS DENIED?
If the claim is denied, you don’t owe us anything.
HOW DOES LENZ MAKE MONEY?
We only make money when we build the job. This means that your best interests will align with ours. We don’t want to waste your time or ours if we don’t think your project will be approved by the insurance carrier.
